Wedding Hair Styling Appointment tips:

• For your styling appointment, make sure you have clean, dry hair. Modern products can now provide the texture needed so that not washing your hair the day of is no longer necessary.

• My styling kit has all the sprays and gels that will be needed for a lasting, beautiful, frizz-free wedding hair do. If you have a product that you prefer to bring yourself,  just let me know.

• Fresh hair flowers are one of the best things about getting married on Kauai. You can add loose hair flowers, a haku lei or hair flower piece to your floral order. Your coordinator might provide your wedding hair flowers at your ceremony site, or have them delivered to your styling location.

• Make sure you have all of the items that you want to wear in your hair with you for your styling appointment: veil, sparkly pins, headbands, flowers, etc.

Makeup tips:

• My makeup kit has all the primers, concealers, foundations, color cosmetics and faux lashes that we will need to make you look fabulous on your special day.

• Feel free to bring any makeup of your own that you want me to use.

• A great item to purchase and bring to your ceremony is OIL BLOTTING PAPER. They can counteract the shininess you can get with the long term exposure of  your makeup to the humidity and outdoor conditions on Kauai!

• My foundation has an SPF of 20 so there is no need to apply sunscreen before your makeup appointment.

• I use a long-lasting lipstick that will stay on until you eat something. 

• Faux lashes are included with the makeup service.
